About Myself: I write short stories of the strange and twisted. Sometimes horror, sometimes sci-fi or whatever strikes my imigination. Used to write quite a bit when I was younger, then life sort of pushed it in the closet and now I am writing once again.

The Church-Part 4
Great job of keeping the suspense going! The interaction between characters are fantastic. Each chapter continues to pull me in. Well-written. Stephen King would be proud.

Bravo!

Very good. The short, clipped dialogue conveys the urgency and coldness of a hospital emergency room without having to describe anything. Scary thought about organ donations that I know has crossed almost everybodys mind. Unique writing style, like it.

Whoa! A new and unique twist on the old saying "wolves at the door". I quess he didn't see the light. Nicely written. short, but descriptive.
Good job.

The Church---Ch 3
I love it! Only one question. Shouldn't they be having mass for the three that sacrficed themselves also? If they did, that is. Good writing. A few grammatical errors here and there, but a good edit would fix those right up.
Keep on writing. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Sincerely,

The Church- Part 2
Now it's getting interesting. Keep on going. The tone of the reverend and his two 'disciples' feels like 'shades of Jim Jones'.

If you can't say anything encouraging or positive then don't say anything at all. Sure, Zombies have been done to death, but they are ingrained into our artistic society and are classic, and will be around forever. It's telling a good story that makes or breaks the usual. And this is a good story. The focus is on the main character's emotional reaction to his dilemma, rather that the zombies themselves. John, you have told a very good story, well-written. The contrast of the first paragraph to the rest of the story is ingenous. I liked the use of the church as santuary and the fighting spirit of the people fortifying it. The main character's emotional state is well portrayed. My only objection is the use of the words "I guess." A lot of your commas could be replaced by periods. It's ok to shorten some of your sentences. All in all, did not detract form the jist of the story. Nothing a good edit couldn't fix.

Bravo for a job well done! Keep on writing!

The Angel Is Dead
Held my attention from first line to last. I could feel the pain of losing someone and the first thoughts of 'can't live without her/him' syndrome. Good ending. 99% of people do change their minds.
Good job! Keep on writing!

Darkly ironic. I was really pulling for Jack, but I fear if he had lived he would have become one of those obnoxious fanatical religious zealots that are one step away from an insane asylum.
Good story. Good write. A different perspective on the suicide angle(of which there are thousands).
