This was a really different story. "the city clawed at the sky, columns of majestic silver needles poking through the thin, fair-weather clouds." And that line made me stop in my tracks. I love your descriptions.

the expression on my face must've been priceless. you could say i was a little slow to figure out how to read "I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD". love the visual format. looks great, reads okay. for a poet i'm not a big fan of poetry. =)
