About Myself: I have a lifelong love of reading and a secret desire to be an author, that my chronic bouts of procrastination have always managed to stall. I read The Lord of The Rings when I was nine, and from that most excellent starting point have always felt my favourite genre to be fantasy, although I consider the definition of fantasy to be as broad as the mind can wander. I would like to recommend the following authors: Brian Lumley, Katherine Kerr, Raymond E Feist, Robert Jordan, Jean M Auel, Anne Rice, Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov and of course good ol' Tolkein. Wikipedia them or something, they're all excellent storytellers!

Title article: Project 30, Chapter 21

Well, that makes a bit more sense! I have to say this whole project was immensely fun to be a part of, I think we should be proud of this effort.

where in the hell was the girl with the champagne tray (a bit thirsty). Maybe with Dirkin I assumed...

Oh man, your whole story made me laugh from start to end. I loved the figjam, the reference to the crown game that most wont even get. Well done Mr Potter, for a laugh like that I barely noticed that the admin wasnt poisoned in this version of events

Title article: Parapraxis
Date: 2008-08-22 00:37:05

She ran through the ditch and followed the path Rob and his car had taken, she stopped as she reached the fence and looked at it. It had been thrown from the car during the rolls, and it seemed almost intact. She reached down and picked it up, holding it in her two arms

This needs to be rewritten to establish this is where she picks up the gun, its not very clear. I think the story was very intense and the dialogue was interesting. I like the line "mustof" as one word. I am unsure why she would behave as she did at the end, I guess revenge for him trying to kill her? Still it didnt seem right for her to go to that extreme when Rob was trapped and no longer a danger. Or maybe it was instinct ;)

Title article: Walking Along the Shore
Date: 2008-08-22 00:22:12

I think that standing on the ocean and listening to the waves speaks to the same spot in each of us, of universal peace. Simple and beautiful message in this poem

Title article: SECOND SEX.
Date: 2008-08-22 00:18:40

The title caught my attention, but it was another excellent and worthy poem that I found. Good to see you at your best Terry. I think this showed the desperate nature of sex sometimes, hurried, awkward and intense

Title article: The Demented Quiet One

A very disturbing tale told well through prose. Enjoyable to read hannah

Yeah, it's gonna have a lot more of a fantasy plot. I'm about to start the prologue in a little bit, and work out the plot some more.

The only authors i haven't read from your list are Kerr and Auel. Shame about Jordan, started reading the Wheel in 98.

Very nice work Dirkin. You should update that blog, I'll would be glad to link up. But, that's beside the point. You keep on writing, you're doing a hell of a job.

Okay, here's a better one:

Why don't Monsters eat Clowns?
Because they taste funny.

Feedback from Mugen (Dirkin): Hmm i don't know any mexican jokes... (aussie), try this: why did the boy fall off the swingset? he had no arms.
