About Myself: My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me, poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past. What I write basically is me trying to get incomplete or unfocused thoughts out into the open, a weird way for me to mend. Music is a huge love of mine. Most of my writing comes into existance when i'm listening to it.

"No matter what happens now, you shouldn't be afraid. Because I know today has been the most perfect day I've ever seen." -Radiohead

Title article: TERRORISM– FREEDOM FROM FEAR
Date: 2008-12-17 14:56:53

i didn't really see any literary technique in here, i didn't see any art...this just read like a personal statement...but anyway, i do also feel that politicians are crooked and fake but one thing i strongly disagree with is when you said nobody likes being a terrorist....uh there are many evil people in this world..and some people just have a natural attraction and taste for ruining things, seeing civilization burn. pure evil exists just as good heartedness exists.

Title article: Look at you
Date: 2008-12-17 14:48:49

i see the intention for this piece and i consumed the meaning but i think it could have been better developed...it seemed dry to me. and also, in the beginning there was a rhyming rhythm but then it just faded and that distracted me as well.

Title article: December
Date: 2008-12-16 16:19:11

pretty cool lyrics to a love gone sour song. why is it that we always seem to associate december with lost love...i'm just curious about that. maybe it's the bitter cold that december brings that is relatable to the cold you feel in your heart when love has gone away. these lyrics told a story and it was bleak, but enjoyable.

Title article: Thank You
Date: 2008-12-16 16:14:05

i did like the places this story took me...the letter and the life that was being retold seemed real. as megan said, the many different emotions this April contracted was interesting, and this just teaches a lesson..as badly as things can turn, there always seems to come a ray of light. but we have to decide how we take that ray of light, some of us never know it's there and take it for granted, then one day wake up and realize the good we ignored....and some of us grasp it at its arrival.

Title article: Terah's Disease
Date: 2008-12-16 16:07:21

i guess i was expecting something totally different when i read the title...so i'm not sure what to say about this. i feel really rude, but i just didn't like this at all. and after reading it, i'm struggling to see the point in it.

Title article: Alone?
Date: 2008-12-16 16:04:01

the most i could relate to a piece yet today....this was a really great short write. enjoyed every sentence. i am so familiar with the constant paranoia that feeling alone can bring.

Title article: Reform-Conform
Date: 2008-12-16 16:00:23

Phil's definitely not alone....i had a difficult time understanding this as well...the first stanza made sense but then the rest threw off my interpretation...but even so, i liked the rhythm and nothing seemed forced.
although i didn't like the second stanza, i felt like it didn't need to be there....but that's just my opinion.

Title article: What you see, depends on what your looking for
Date: 2008-12-16 15:56:11

well tarhead's interpretation makes sense to me. i liked this, it had a poignant feel and a nice rythm to go along with it. some nice choice of words....but there are quite a few spelling mistakes.

Title article: untitled
Date: 2008-12-16 15:48:57

in the beginning stanza i liked how you described things missing their essential parts...i don't think i've ever seen that done before. and the last stanza had a choppy feel to it and it made the thoughts seem perfectly fragmented which definitely added to the feel of this.

Title article: On the Shore of Lost Cause
Date: 2008-12-16 15:44:56

well allmine, i can see where you got the beach idea....but haha i was just using the island as a metaphor....but hey! you take from this what you want...that's the whole idea. but anyway, you did get the last part perfectly right, "wondering if he is just existing" that's exactly what this poem is about....actually alot of my poems can follow that line of thought. thanks for reading!

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): yea i know....i haven't been able to write anything recently...my mind is kinda bogged down at the moment. but i am trying to put some more pieces together. right now they are all incomplete, but i'll finish them up. i keep wanting to post things but then end up deleting them because i think they're shit.

Of course we get along A couple of those last poems were from awhile ago, but yeah, I definitely have the darker side in me that I don't let come out and play that often. I've got a few more up my sleeve that I'm debating whether or not to post. I LOVE your stuff though. You have no problem just putting your emotions out there.

You better, or I'll have to create a second profile and bash all of your existing poems because I'm cool and not a loser. Ha!
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): haha yea i know i feel left out on the whole multiple profile thing. but i guess i'll just be lame and stay with one.

You are too kind (heh).

I like your poetry, now that I've delved into it a little bit more; it's so thought-provoking; it's excellent, really!

Cell... I like it because of how intricate all of the words used to describe a cell's composition are... if that makes any sense, at all (???). And your screen name (resistanceisfreedom) tells me you have idealistic views, and are in many senses a liberal... that is very cool.

Many happinesses!

Yo.
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): hmmm interesting. i never thought of cell that way. thank you for your appreciation for my poems! i'm glad you enjoy them. yes, i do have idealistic views for sure. i'm glad you can accept me for that. Much happiness right back!
