About Myself: My writings began as short little stories. But then I began to experiment my writing style into the world of poems. And ever since then I haven't been able to stop writing poems. For me poems are more fun to write and they are alot more challenging.

I basically write about anything that seems relevant to me at the time. Most of my poetry is about me in a way. Every thought that I include in my poems is usually a thought I personally feel or have felt in the past.

Lastly, I really do not write anything on the mellow or happy side. Almost everything I write could be associated with depression or sadness. So, if you're a person who likes things to be upbeat and sugarcoated....then nothing I write is for you. And if you don't like what I write just save me the time and don't comment. Because most importantly, I don't write these poems to later see who thinks I did a good job or who thinks I fucked up. I write them for myself.

Also if you're like me in any way as far as disliking the world we live in as of now then take a look at some of these websites......

Title article: Vast Fear
Date: 2008-09-04 18:46:46

i liked how you described running away from yourself...it was done differently than i have ever read before.....and Harmattan, maybe it would be a deep shame to you....but it's very real and people do feel like running away sometimes...i'm definitely one of them....so don't say that you can't comprehend it when it is indeed a real feeling.

Title article: Those Hills
Date: 2008-09-04 18:42:26

i really thought this was an amazing poem!! i enjoyed the first stanza greatly and i keep reading it over and over..this will be one to drop into the favorites.

Title article: Bad Religion
Date: 2008-09-04 18:29:07

i really liked this. it was an interesting read for me and i really thought you proved what you needed to well...i can remember when i was younger going to my grandparent's church and thinking some of the same thoughts you jotted down in this...it always felt so uncomfortable to me. anyway, good read.

Title article: For as you judge, you will be judged
Date: 2008-09-03 19:15:18

i think you did a good job painting this scene...which made it alot easier for me to understand where you were heading with this....but yea, having that kind of relationship seems to be the best way to go. who gives a shit about what anyone else thinks!

Title article: Hearts Cry Out
Date: 2008-09-03 19:10:59

i wouldn't say this was all over the place, but the flow did seem a little out of focus....but i still loved the poem...this had some intense thought put into it.
it shows.

Title article: Bonnie
Date: 2008-09-03 19:02:52

ugh...yea that last comment was by me....i don't know why it does that.

Title article: My Father
Date: 2008-09-03 18:53:32

not much more to add on this....so i'll just say that it was indeed touching. and even though in didn't rhyme, it flowed nicely all the same.

Title article: The Thief -- A Haiku
Date: 2008-09-03 18:49:47

i understood this Haiku no problem.....i just get really bored with them so it's not anything against you...i just never understood the hype on Haiku's.

Title article: There Is No Me Without You
Date: 2008-09-02 19:38:49

well you definitely did a good job conveying that behind the mask.....i really liked this...and i couldn't agree more with what you said, "there wouldn't be anything good enough to describe the love the person feels."

Title article: Marks On the Wall
Date: 2008-09-02 18:32:40

i enjoy these kinds of stories every once in a while...and yours was definitely enjoyable to read.

Hey, man. What's up?

You got some more kickass poems up in that strange noggin of yours? Cough 'em up, I need my fix. Hurry ... I'm ... jonesing ... like ... a ... smiley face
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): yea i know....i haven't been able to write anything recently...my mind is kinda bogged down at the moment. but i am trying to put some more pieces together. right now they are all incomplete, but i'll finish them up. i keep wanting to post things but then end up deleting them because i think they're shit.

Of course we get along A couple of those last poems were from awhile ago, but yeah, I definitely have the darker side in me that I don't let come out and play that often. I've got a few more up my sleeve that I'm debating whether or not to post. I LOVE your stuff though. You have no problem just putting your emotions out there.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): really?? well that's great news. i was getting very irritated with the many annoying personalities she had.

You better, or I'll have to create a second profile and bash all of your existing poems because I'm cool and not a loser. Ha!
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): haha yea i know i feel left out on the whole multiple profile thing. but i guess i'll just be lame and stay with one.

Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): Haha well i guess that's a good thing, right?

You are too kind (heh).

I like your poetry, now that I've delved into it a little bit more; it's so thought-provoking; it's excellent, really!

Cell... I like it because of how intricate all of the words used to describe a cell's composition are... if that makes any sense, at all (???). And your screen name (resistanceisfreedom) tells me you have idealistic views, and are in many senses a liberal... that is very cool.

Many happinesses!

Yo.
Feedback from Sorrow Is My Mask (resistanceisfreedom): hmmm interesting. i never thought of cell that way. thank you for your appreciation for my poems! i'm glad you enjoy them. yes, i do have idealistic views for sure. i'm glad you can accept me for that. Much happiness right back!
