About Myself: Well, I'm not a big fan of writing about myself. Nonetheless, here goes... I work full-time at the Missouri University of Science and Technology as a Video Production Specialist in relation to Distance Education. When I'm not doing that I'm working with our independent production company (Onyx Dragon Productions, LLC). We've filmed many short films, worked on a few TV shows, filmed one full-length film (which is still in post production) and working on my first full-length, filmed a few weddings, commercials, worked with SIDEKICK Sketch Comedy of The Skinny Improv of Springfield, Missouri and many, many other projects.

When I'm not doing those types of things, I'm usually working with church matters and when I'm not doing that I'm usually relaxing... or writing.

Writing is one of my fondest passions. Though I think I have developed better into a script writer (rather than a short story or novel writer), short stories is where I started and I still enjoy them so.

Keep up the good works, peeps.

UPDATES-- (12-18-08)
1. Currently developing chapter 6 and 7 of "The Agency" [note all stories with either "Agent" or "Agency" within title]. The story is about to blow up big and take a turn--quite a turn.

2. Developing a prequel to "Exit to Nowhere." Sure to be a scary treat, I assure.

3. UPLOADED latest addition to "Jason Richard Wright." Check out Faye.

Mesa like...
Yes, "mesa like" as in Jar-Jar Binks. As in, shoot me.

But not about this poem. This was really great. I favorited it, so I could come back and examine it later when I have more time.

Excellent work, Sorrow.

Appreciated....
I appreciate this piece, especially having known people who have had done such things. It may seem "idiotic", as Potter points out, and to some degree it is--as are all bad ideas, but usually whilst making decisions they seem good at the time. Sometimes people are so hurt, they search for bizarre ways of ending it.

Depression can be a beast and it effects people differently.

And yes, even sometimes it can be an act for attention. We are all different, but often times we all do the same junk. If it's one thing I've learned in life, we're not alone.

OH...
And there's actually more to that song, that's just part of the chorus. You can listen to it here:

Good stuff.

Wow...
Simple, but good. Says a lot with little, me thinks. It reminds me of some lyrics from an unknown duet of girls in the Kansas City area...

Dear Vlado 2
... Sorrow is my Mask has an idea as to grammer and rules of writing, you can tell just from reading this story that he does. But he chose to write it this way, instead.

Wanna challenge, Vlado? Challenge yourself to write outside the confines of "that's the way it is."

Not intending to be rude, Vlado, but you did get a little out of line with your comments. It was a generic throw down on Sorrow, or taking out agression that was meant for a group of people on one person. Pretty lame. Or at least, that's the way it comes across.

Dear Vlado...
From Vlado, "I am afraid that we are supposed to look for some art here – creative writing… rings the bell?"

Orson Welles broke all of the rules when he made "Citizen Kane", is it not art? Is it not creative?

CREATIVE: "resulting from originality of thought, expression, etc.; imaginative: creative writing."

In the words of Clint Eastwood, "I have a reverence for individuality."

Wanna know why Indy film is so popular, right now? Because it doesn't conform.

Yes, publishing is a cut-throat world, because there are rules to follow.

I see nothing wrong with this story, though the change of tenses through me off for a bit. But, I came to appreciate it, since there were a lot of figurative things going on in this short.

Vlado your comments would have been better suited as, "Not my cup of tea." Or, "I prefer a more grammatically correct and structured the 'old fashioned way' type story." You speak of preferences and rules. I have no doubt that for the most part...

...
Excellent work. I really, really liked this. And I never took it literally. I thought the figurative stuff was pretty clear, but maybe I'm just weird.

Just a really, really good piece. And I didn't expect him to put the mask back on in the end, so that was a surprise to me. I thought he'd for sure leave it on the floor. But alas, I was wrong.

Superb.

Title article: Confessions of a Teenage Psyche Case

Fun... true
This is some good stuff. My brother-in-law worked in a psyche ward of a hospital for a while and he had some pretty amusing stories like this.

They had a guy who thought he was Jesus. Needless to say, he wasn't.

Great, great stuff. I love this type of humor, so I'm a biased little honey bee... but it was good reading.

Eat that!
Sorry, I was just imaging the dialogue....

I really, really liked this poem. It was fantastic. Definitely had a childish charm to it... like a Shel Silverstein poem.

As Mr. Burns from The Simpsons would say, "EXXXXXXCELENT."

Period.
They're supposed to be on the outside.... nice try, fancy pants!

Such nonsense you speak.

And how dare you leave it up to the reader's interpretation? The reader always interprets it wrong and annoys you in the end, anyway...

I'm being silly of course. It is often best left that way.

"Rosebud."

Oh wow! that is soo awesome congrats to you and your wife!

Yeah, I wrote those stories a long while ago. I'm going to clean them up and maybe post them again. Since I'm learning new skills all the time, my old writing seems terrible to me when I look back on it. I guess thats just the way it works, though
