About Myself: Well, I'm not a big fan of writing about myself. Nonetheless, here goes... I work full-time at the Missouri University of Science and Technology as a Video Production Specialist in relation to Distance Education. When I'm not doing that I'm working with our independent production company (Onyx Dragon Productions, LLC). We've filmed many short films, worked on a few TV shows, filmed one full-length film (which is still in post production) and working on my first full-length, filmed a few weddings, commercials, worked with SIDEKICK Sketch Comedy of The Skinny Improv of Springfield, Missouri and many, many other projects.

When I'm not doing those types of things, I'm usually working with church matters and when I'm not doing that I'm usually relaxing... or writing.

Writing is one of my fondest passions. Though I think I have developed better into a script writer (rather than a short story or novel writer), short stories is where I started and I still enjoy them so.

Keep up the good works, peeps.

UPDATES-- (12-18-08)
1. Currently developing chapter 6 and 7 of "The Agency" [note all stories with either "Agent" or "Agency" within title]. The story is about to blow up big and take a turn--quite a turn.

2. Developing a prequel to "Exit to Nowhere." Sure to be a scary treat, I assure.

3. UPLOADED latest addition to "Jason Richard Wright." Check out Faye.

As always...
Terrible. Kidding, kidding.

It is, as always, pretty intense. And appreciated. And heartfelt and... well... deepening.

Your poems are always excellent. If not a bit depressing, sometimes. I think I'm going to leave work and go jump off a cliff. Oh, wait... never mind, I'm good.

Excellent
I really liked this one.

It felt like someone was talking to you, very prose-like... but it was also poetic. An excellent blend, I must say.

I always like reading narrative that sounds as if the narrator is standing before me telling the tale... this did that for me. Thanks much, write on!

Pretty unique piece you have here. Interesting visuals, especially. Keep up the good work.

Medal?
Why am I receiving a medal?

I don't want a medal; I want to be able to "thank the Academy." Though, technically, I don't need to thank the Academy because it's not like they "gave" it to me. And it's not like I earned it. It's that I... am... the best. Just saying. That's how I see it through my reins.

Again
As always, really enjoyed the word-trip.

So, just keep doing what you're doing. I really don't have much to say, because you know I'm always amused... well, almost always at least. Surely always... surely possibly. Surely.

Repeat
I know I've noted this already, on the other site, but I really like this one.

Of course, once again, you write good stuff. Keep up the good work, both the creative stuff and other good things ya did. Like keeping us all together and in the loop. This site and community rocks forever more.

Seriously, though. I really like the simplicity of the poem. Nice.

Chief Joseph
I don't know if anyone is familiar with Chief Joseph's surrender speech, but I would say I was channeling the remembrance of his heartfelt surrender, though I hadn't read it in over five years. It must have been buried in the back of my subconscious:

"I am tired of fighting. Our chiefs are killed. Looking Glass is dead. Toohulhulsote is dead. The old men are all dead. It is the young men who say yes or no. He who led the young men is dead.

It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them, have run away to the hills and have no blankets, no food. No one knows where they are--perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead.

Hear me, my chiefs. I am tired. My heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

Mesa like...
Yes, "mesa like" as in Jar-Jar Binks. As in, shoot me.

But not about this poem. This was really great. I favorited it, so I could come back and examine it later when I have more time.

Excellent work, Sorrow.

Oh wow! that is soo awesome congrats to you and your wife!

Yeah, I wrote those stories a long while ago. I'm going to clean them up and maybe post them again. Since I'm learning new skills all the time, my old writing seems terrible to me when I look back on it. I guess thats just the way it works, though
