Thanks for your comments. The inference was that whatever the small token was that he left in the grave it would more than likely lead the police to him. Did that come over to you?

I take the point about the slurs. I wrote it a long time ago and even I now have trouble with them [and I'm an alcoholic !!! ] They melted due to the ingestion of cider & crisps which I admit was a bit stupid of them having come all the way from a distant galaxy only to posion themselves on the local "food".
