Big build up ending with a whimper.

Short and funny. Mixed tenses in places but nothing that a good proofreading can't correct.

If Mitch had money what the heck was he doing sharing an apartment with this loser! Sorry - did not find it too amusing.

Germ of a good Kafkaesque idea. Vaguely reminiscent of Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum" without the tension. Mixed tenses, wrong verbs in places.

Proofreading would have picked up where "you're" was used instead of "your." Common - but irritating mistake.

I'm afraid I found this disturbing - sick even.

Thanks
Thanks for the feedback..... and to black187, just wanted to let you know that the real Chinook who inspired this did die - we had to put him down due to kindney failure and cancer - now that made a grown man cry!!

Interesting
The conflict between the renewed hope of the protagonist and the tragic end so soon following his 'rebirth' is what makes this story darkly interesting. I enjoyed it. Needed some proofreading to pick up some minor errors but good!

Unfinished
The story had great potential but it went unexploited. It just felt unfinished.
