About Myself: writing is simply my escape. i write mostly about what i know. that's not to say that everything i write about has happened to me, it may have just been thoughts or dreams. i don't write a poem a day, or a poem a week...sometimes i won't write for a couple months, it depends on if, when, and where i find inspiration. i don't sugar coat things and ignorance isn't bliss...so if you're looking for those happy go lucky poems i suggest going elsewhere. i appreciate ANY comments, but if you don't like piece i'd like for you to explain why. not saying that i'll change the poem, because i won't, but i'll try to think about it next time i write. well, that was probably boring so i'll end with a quote:
"And when the day arrives I'll become the sky and I'll become the sea and the sea will come to kiss me, for I am going home. Nothing can stop me now.”-trent reznor

Title article: Some Haiku's
Date: 2008-08-18 21:11:16

i find myself reading haikus more and more, and these three were among the best. i must say the third was my favorite, it can take on many meanings (in my opinion). as far as the obvious/vague thing...i think you did a pretty good job. i could tell what you were specifically talking about, yet they could (again) take on a deeper meaning.

Title article: Hoping The Sun Doesn't Rise
Date: 2008-08-18 20:58:56

the content was amazing and your flow was flawless...your poems always have intense meaning, but there was something about this that made it more powerful (and it wasn't necessarily the language)...sorry, i'm a terrible commenter so that's all i have to offer

Title article: Thoughts of a Soldier
Date: 2008-07-31 06:25:59

tarhead -i personally am not a soldier, but i was speaking to some people that were. obviously i will never know how a soldier feels after coming back unless i would decide to become one. these are just some of the thoughts they expressed to me. they honestly thought they were fighting for a good reason, but once they joined a lot of different things were exposed. they obviously couldn't quit so they had to fight for a cause they no longer believed in. i simply tried to put myself in their shoes, but i will never pretend i know what the went through, or continue to go through.

Title article: Fading From Sight
Date: 2008-07-30 15:43:36

yet another great poem from the sorrowful one...

but i read through the previous comments and decided to comment on those as well as the poem.
well i must say, you're writing is far from being "nothing". you've gained many fans and much respect on this site, and while that may not be WHY you write, it shows that your writing is something. you've given people a different perspective on quite a few subjects, and that is, yet again, something. i'd really miss your poems, but obviously can't stop you if you wish to discontinue writing. it would just be a shame for the ignorance of one person to stop you from writing poetry.

Title article: I am alone - the poem, read this before the story
Date: 2008-07-30 14:47:27

i really enjoyed this, it had an aura about it...i liked the structure in which you wrote it as well, it gave it more meaning. for me, i thought the ending was good and not too short. it reminded me of an open ended novel...maybe there will be a sequel?

Title article: Ephemeral -- A haiku cum senryu

kudos
this is one of the best haikus i've ever read...so much meaning in such few words, i look forward to reading any of you future ones.

Title article: A Binding Constraint
Date: 2008-07-30 14:10:16

i really loved this. it seems like when most people write the longer lines, their flow suffers...but yours was simply impecable, it seemed so natural.

Title article: From My Shadow, You Are Free
Date: 2008-07-30 14:01:28

as corny as it sounds, this poem left me breathless. it was definitely a changeup from the normal suicide poem in the fact that they were trying to free someone else, and not themself. i think i'm going to have to favorite this one.

Title article: Betrayed by a friend
Date: 2008-06-25 18:32:01

to me the poem was empty...there just really wasn't that much to it , or as a previous comment said, a "plot". it was okay, but it kind of seemed thrown together.

Title article: I Lost me Space
Date: 2008-06-18 17:21:46
brilliant!
this is definitely the best poem i've read in a really long time...then again, i always seem to enjoy your work...it's definitely worth five stars

Ah, your quote at the bottom.......from "La Mer" which is one of my all time favorite Nine Inch Nails instrumentals.
Feedback from b.k. (b.k.): lol yeah...their instrumentation was amazing on that song
