About Myself: writing is simply my escape. i write mostly about what i know. that's not to say that everything i write about has happened to me, it may have just been thoughts or dreams. i don't write a poem a day, or a poem a week...sometimes i won't write for a couple months, it depends on if, when, and where i find inspiration. i don't sugar coat things and ignorance isn't bliss...so if you're looking for those happy go lucky poems i suggest going elsewhere. i appreciate ANY comments, but if you don't like piece i'd like for you to explain why. not saying that i'll change the poem, because i won't, but i'll try to think about it next time i write. well, that was probably boring so i'll end with a quote:
"And when the day arrives I'll become the sky and I'll become the sea and the sea will come to kiss me, for I am going home. Nothing can stop me now.”-trent reznor

first time i read it, i didn't care for it too much...the second time through, i liked it...funny how that works...for your first haiku it's not bad at all

Title article: Trying to Concentrate on Freedom

amazing account of the horrors people faced in world war II...though for some reason it seemed to read more like a short story for me ...then again, that's most likely just me

Title article: Will We Meet Again?

what happened to the glimpse of hope that we saw a couple poems back? nonetheless it's really good, the third stanza was my favorite and for some reasong it really stuck out

oh definitely...i like johnny cash, and had nothing but respect for him...but there won't ever be anything better than the original

those are all good as well...though all of the songs are fantastic...i don't think i've heard that version of "hurt", but i'll have to check it out...i just said the "original" version because of the johnny cash cover

Title article: downward spiral

well my favorite tracks (since it's nearly impossible to pick just one) were "the becoming", "big man with a gun", and the original version of "hurt".....also, though i found it to be a bit overplayed, i liked "closer" as well....reznor is a fucking genius

cleverly written, and the metaphors were great. this story shows that beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder.

i may be wrong, but i believe this is the first piece of yours i've ever read...and i definitely look forward to more.

Title article: The Darkness Inside

i think most people eventually asks themself that question, and the emotions that go along with it were well conveyed. the inconsistent rhyming made the poem, to me, better...and that is a rare thing

Ah, your quote at the bottom.......from "La Mer" which is one of my all time favorite Nine Inch Nails instrumentals.
Feedback from b.k. (b.k.): lol yeah...their instrumentation was amazing on that song
