About Myself: writing is simply my escape. i write mostly about what i know. that's not to say that everything i write about has happened to me, it may have just been thoughts or dreams. i don't write a poem a day, or a poem a week...sometimes i won't write for a couple months, it depends on if, when, and where i find inspiration. i don't sugar coat things and ignorance isn't bliss...so if you're looking for those happy go lucky poems i suggest going elsewhere. i appreciate ANY comments, but if you don't like piece i'd like for you to explain why. not saying that i'll change the poem, because i won't, but i'll try to think about it next time i write. well, that was probably boring so i'll end with a quote:
"And when the day arrives I'll become the sky and I'll become the sea and the sea will come to kiss me, for I am going home. Nothing can stop me now.”-trent reznor

short and not so sweet, but i really liked it. i imagine everyone, at one atleast one point in their life, realizes that they're 'lost', and this describes the feelings well.

i personally found that the disorganized thoughts added to the poem...honestly, who's thinking clearly when they're getting ready to commit suicide? oh well, i guess it's the whole "different strokes" thing

Title article: On the Shore of Lost Cause

beautiful...but the following lines stood out the most in my opinion:
"Come nightfall I'm just watching fate
Desperately looking for any sign of escape
Pretending I am not alone all of the time
Too many lost pieces, the riddles and the rhymes"

Title article: They are the Dead

excellent...both in structure and message. people don't think for themselves anymore, and instead go with what's popular...the whole disney channel craze just multiplies it by a hundred. i loved the metaphors as well.

terrible how humanity seems to die out more and more each day. condescending assholes stare down their noses at everyone and anyone who don't live up to their standards. great job portraying this.

i'm practically speechless. i can't believe i never read anything of yours before. the imagery was amazing, and the flow was flawless.

very original...i liked the almost, for lack of a better word, choppy thoughts...and it was easy to read through

i liked the poem, and the style in which you wrote it...it was pretty good, and i definitely would read more that are written in this structure (or maybe lack of structure)

Title article: Bleeding Sea
Date: 2008-09-21 10:12:13

well, as always, i loved it....i honestly don't think there are enough positive adjectives to describe this....the end really made an impact and tied it together...after i finished reading it i realized that the entire time i had been reading it to a melody...if you ever chose to, i believe you'd have a very good chance at a songwriting career

Title article: after that afternoon
Date: 2008-08-26 19:10:41

i liked this...for me it had a very zen feeling to it, which i tend to like...i did get a tad bit confused though

Ah, your quote at the bottom.......from "La Mer" which is one of my all time favorite Nine Inch Nails instrumentals.
Feedback from b.k. (b.k.): lol yeah...their instrumentation was amazing on that song
