About Myself: I'm still just a student in high school who just wants to get better at writing. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm here because I want to get better at writing and I want to see what others think of my pieces.

I discovered a love for writing nonfiction after reading an excerpt from Russell Baker's Growing Up. I mainly write nonfiction, but I also like to try to step out of the box and try different things.

Some of my favorite books include: The Catcher in the Rye, The Importance of Being Earnest, To Kill a Mockingbird, Great Gatsby and Flipped. I would also recommend any writer to read On Writing Well. It sounds like a boring book, but it is quite entertaining and you might learn something.

I am currently taking down some of my stuff for revision, but I'm quite lazy so I might not get around to it for a while. That is also why I have not finished my series. It will come, some time soon.

i actually really liked this piece. it didnt have much of a plot, but was more of a glipse into a life. the characters were nicely developed and the descriptions were wonderful. i also liked the twist on how his wife was blind and how he had to describe the world to her.

great story, i loved it.

i loved how you set up the poem to look like a set of stairs and there were twelve steps. so it was like the gradual steps to insanity, how we all start out the same walking talking and then we progress to insanity.

not sure if that was what it was ment to be, but that was my take on it. either way i loved this.

haha ya i saw it listed as romance and was like 'Zombie Punk, writing a ROMANCE?'i loved it though. the first few lines, i thought were coming from a grown up, but once it got to the part about the ponytail and runbbing the chin, i thought that the story was being told through an 8 year old.

i thought that this was really good though

o wow there actaully were robots involved. maybe my character was not going crazy after all.

loved the whole story and the ending was cool how you put together bits and pieces of the stories. great twist with jason trying to kill michelle. i never would have guessed that.

Title article: My Secret Spot

this was a great story. i loved the part about Penny trying to be a gangster, that made me laugh. the ending was very sad, but death is a part of growing up and losing childhood innocence. i think that childhood was captured wonderfully here.

loved this one, i thought it was really cool. i also thought that the poking with salad forks was quite funny.

Title article: Project 30, Chapter 6
Date: 2008-08-08 18:16:19

ya this was cool how you made it different and had an adventure inside of the story. the time warp was cool too. for a second, i thought that you might save the admin.

Title article: Project 30, Chapter 5
Date: 2008-08-08 18:05:19

ya, i thought that it was pretty good. i liked the way that you wrote it and how that it was told through the eyes of a drunk person. it left it with a lot of gaps, to add to the suspense, like why was the admin. talking to the person in the bushes and stuff.

Title article: Project 30, Chapter 4

haha this was great. i liked the format, it worked well with this. i also loved the remarks, i definately could see this happening.

I used to be a fan of Green Day, but I really like a couple of their songs. Jesus of Suburbia is really easy to relate to so I love that one. I also like Brain Stew and Time of Your Life.

Hm ... some good lyrics to it.

Check out Duality by Slipknot and Through Glass by Stone Sour, but any of their songs are really great. Those old words about poking myself in the eyes in the lyrics for Duality.
