Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through dark skies
Fear and death trail in its shadow beneath
Until men united wield a hallowed sabre
In final reckoning, the beast is slain
As the demon sleeps man turns on man
His blood and madness soon cover the earth
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz
Its black wings ablaze in majestic light

Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky.

If your wondering, no I don’t really practice what I preach that often sure I help whoever I can, but living in California has me making it by a few bucks each day, sure a few weeks back I was driving around and a bum was laying down, so I thought he was asleep but then again it was like 120 degrees outside so I stopped and gave the guy like 5 bottles of water and drove off. Do I know if he used them not at all, I did what I though was right and I moved on? 
 
Do I agree with myself all of the time no way.

Wow that was quite tragic, it left me feeling regret as I was immersed in the poem even though I was unable to help the girl I was there when she jumped. 
 
The monster the father had I believe is determined by the reader weather it was abuse or just something different, that choice to leave the specifics out made it even more powerful.

Wow max you write poetry, I might as well give up now. 
 
From a first hand perspective at being around a vet I have to say that there is a lot of respect for them but their desire for their own death is greater than anything that is known. If they feel like they are useless they are driven to the brink. 
 
Saddening. 
 
Great descriptions keep up your excellent work.

Nobody ever really grows up in my opinion, and now that I know that Phil always acts like a weird 18 year old I shall remember it, but I also think that nobody should ever grow up, if everyone started to act like stuck up old people the world would be a much more boring place. 
 
So all in all have fun with life take it seriously and do your chores during the week so that you can have the weekend to yourself. 
 
Amazing. The reader can relate extremely well with this, at least I know I can. 
 
Keep up the good work.

Wow, that was a surprise I thought from the beginning that she was going to die. Here he dies in a car accident while trying to save her, a bit sad if you ask me. 
 
As with all of your work Phil, excellent job details were not overwhelming the reader, and the story itself immersed the reader in a very subtle way.

Amazing Max simply amazing, love the pink ski mask part and the news article from the next day about a homosexual couple, hilarious.
