Zack drove along the road, listening to Mikayla talking to Danny.
Recently, Mikayla and Danny have been talking a lot.
Zack giggled a little bit. Maybe they're dating and making out. It was a pretty dumb thought, though.
Zack couldn't help himself. It just slipped out. "What are ya talking about?"
Danny gave Zack a cold, hard stare. "Well, if you must know, we're devising a strategy to kill the fuckers...

“Get out!” Katie screamed from the living room, “I never
want to see you again!” Throwing her engagement ring at him, she was bawling
from the vicious fight. Ryan had come home late again; one in the morning, and
she could smell alcohol on his breath. What had happened to the reasonable man
she fell in love with? Ever since his father had died, Ryan was out drinking
every night at Dave’s Downtown Pub. Katie fi...

The cops are on my back, they know it's me but they can't prove it. Iv'e decided to lay low , until the heat dies down. I dont know how they found out. I guess there is no perfect crime. I think there was a witness to the killing of my last fictim. She was a pretty thing, I hated to kill her. A child shouldn't grow up around abusive parents, it screws them up. I hope that the child grows up normal. The last thing we need...

Since the first victim there has been three others. Don't get me wrong they all deserved it. Im merely taking out the trach. The second victim was another young male that selled drugs to underaged children. The third was a female teacher that sexually abused three pupils. Last but not least was another male but older this time. He was charged for murder but was evicted not guilty. I thought otherwise...I knew otherwise....

Dont ask me how it happened, it just did. It was a normal everyday day. I woke up, had breakfast, got to work then BAM it happened. Its all a blur. I was stuck standing before a dead body. I had no clue what to do with it. To make thongs worse I had to open shop in 10 minutes. So you could imagine a middle aged man panicing. I figited with my apron as I walked back and forth trying to think of what to do. I picked the body u...

We used to ride our bikes by the lake almost every day. It was the one just outside of our little neighborhood on the way to the general store. Looking back, I realize now that it wasn't really all that big. One could make a complete trip around the bank in a matter of minutes. The mind of a child has a way of making things seem larger than they really are. We would...

Small drops of water began falling onto his windshield as Jameson passed the advertisement for a "We bare all" Café, a Wafflehouse, and a Shell gas station posted on the coming exit sign. He glanced at his fuel gauge, which informed him that he still had a quarter tank, but he decided he might as well fill up anyways. Michael Jackson finished singing "Thriller" and Jameson looked down at the clock, twelve thirty si...

In Temple, Texas, there is a building placed behind a convenient store. The convenient store sits underneath the highway, which is elevated and runs well above the little store, keeping it from being easily seen.
If one was to go around to the building behind the store, one wouldn't notice much of anything at all. The building was made that way. The bricks are of non-descript cinder block, painted over in vanilla colored enamel. The roof of t...

The Church- Part 3- The Search Begins
By John L McCuaig
I didn’t sleep last night; I couldn’t eat this morning; with the dread filling me up I can hardly breathe.
Before we are to set off everyone is called together for a prayer. Reverend McKay talks about how “we” needed our “flock” to grow, ...

The man struggled against his restraints. The man had been stripped of all his clothing. His hands were tied behind his back and he was gagged. The artist forced him down on to the chair. The artist took a piece that was two feet by two feet and tacked it to the wall behind the chair. The bound man began to hyperventilate, but the artist ignored him. The artist went to his workbench and picked up a box that contained fifty .45 ACP rounds. H...

“That’s an incredibly disgusting habit you know, really dangerous too.”
The young man, who had been gazing of into the distance, quickly turned his head to the familiar build sauntering up the dirt path.
He looked down at his cigarette and pitched it onto the ground.
“3 million protestors can’t be wrong.”
“Neither can 3 million cancer-ridden lungs” the teenaged girl quipped.
They both...

Larry walked through the door and the first thing he noticed was that the dog's water bowl was empty again. The dank smell of the old basement mixed with feces and urine filled his nose as he stood at the top of the ten steps and stared down at the bowl.
"Thirsty bitch," he muttered.
The water bowl sat at the bottom the staircase.

The church bells started to ring, mass was about to start. I hate those damn bells- it always sent the Zombies into a frenzy. A call to “rejoice God” which also doubles as a “dinner bell” to the hordes outside.
Reverend McKay expected everyone to attend, not that anything was ever said but it seemed it was the number one rule. As I made my way down from the ro...

Julie By John L McCuaig
I peered through the bedroom curtains, there was even more now, at least twenty. My hunger was now as great as theirs and I knew I had to make my move whilst I still had some energy left.
My mind went back to that night almost a week before, parked in the woods, fumbling about in the back of my car with Julie. At the time I thought life doesn&rsquo...

Tarok stood behind a tree in the fog-shrouded morning, his arm straining as he held the bow and arrow, taking careful aim at his victim. He released the bowstring, Zing! Plunk! He watched with pride as his target crumpled to the ground. Ellie will be pleased. She loved to eat, that one did.
With his prize slung over his back, Tarok whistled a happy tune as he strode through the forest toward the...

Joe screamed for about ten minutes straight. Didn't do much good.
"Oh shit!" Joe said, trying to stand but then falling down.
Joe looked down. He hadn't been shot in the stomach, he had been shot in the leg, but just barely.
Joe shuddered. "If I barely got hit that time and went through that amount of pain, what'll it feel like if I really do get shot?"
He grabbed the machine that had shot him and...
